original oils — from real places

Gallery

Every one of these paintings began somewhere I actually stood — dwarfed by a canyon wall, ankle-deep in a cold mountain creek, watching the light move across a meadow. All I could do in those moments was stand there in awe of it. Emotions swelled, and gratitude with them. I had to try to recreate the way it felt, so that you could feel it too.

The gallery opens with the Great Smoky Mountains, then Zion. More locations are on their way.
